OZ Day

Lake Griffin Commonwealth Park

The actual plan was to spend and celebrate the OZ day in SYD. But plan has changed. We decided to just spend the day in ACT. As we gonna go back to QLD this weekend :)

So, after having lunch -  tasty and yummy kebab at Ali Baba K'Babs and Wraps, we did movie marathon at Dendy cinema. First, we watched The Lovely Bones. Oh oh Mark Wahlberg in it ! And I love him !! the movie was ok-ok la. Was expecting THE ENDING of the movie was something else but it was turned out something else. du'uhh!

Then we watched Up In The Air. Its George Clooney movie lalala:) He is still handsome, good looking and still attractive man at his age now !!

After movies, we went shopping at DFO before we went to the Lake Griffin to watch fireworks at night :) It was a spectacular fireworks show at the lake and the crowd was massive !!

Owh before I lupa, on the way to the Lake Griffin, a car had bump onto our car and smashed the bumper ! What a day huh !

Civic

Yesterday, I had a lovely Sunday with uncle Leman. We had lunch at Babar Cafe & Bar at Civic. They serve modern Australian and Mediterranean fusion. The foods were definitely thumbs up!!

Then we watched movie Bran Nue Dae !! it was definitely the most funniest Abrogine movie I ever seen and this movie is featuring Jessica Mauboy :) If this movie is International released, pls WATCH ok!

Aussie shopping

Australia Day is just around the corner!!!

So? Time for shopppinggg :)

Shopping is tiring yet it is heaven..

Today, I had great shopping time. Today's shopping lists were all for Aussie stuffs. Then jeng jeng jeng.. here are what I bought today..All these patriotic stuffs, I'll be using n wearing them on Australian day on this coming Tuesday Jan.26th 2010. Where to celebrate? dunno yet. Maybe Sydney or just here, in Canberra :)

1. Aussie Bikini -  Checked ! Ive been looking for this one for ages.phew. Got it finally! and it was the last piece!! lucky day hey :)

It means LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL is English.

I watched this movie and I cried at the end. Really2 a great beautifully made foreign movie I ever watched. It is an Italian language movie and they won few awards. One of them is Best European Movie :) You guys gotta watch this movie !! Its about sacrifice you made to the ones you love and how it turns out to a very incredible outcome - giving you the chance to live!

Today is my luckiest day I guess ! and I cant stop smiling :)

Morning 1030hrs, I went down the apartment and checked mail box. Hurm. Big envelope to Ms. ADAM Azura. ehem ehem. Must be official letter neh! Cant wait to open it. Rushed back to the apartment unit, teared up the envelope.. jeng jeng jengggg...

Phew. 13.01.2010 has been in my head since last month. It was an interview with Malaysian High Commission in Australia regarding the Letter of Good Conducts (Police Clearance) application. 

The appointment was at 0900hrs. At 0700hrs, I woke up and got shower and of cos when woman get dressed, they took atleast half an hour to one hour. Why? bcz we loveee constantly changing clothes :) At 0850hrs, I left the house and got a cab. Less than 10 mins-drive for AUD15 (RM45 equi.!). citt! pokai makk!

Sampai2 je, I thought that I was the earliest one, but I was totally wrong la deyy! there were sooo many applicants were there already. waiting for their turn :( for different purposes la kan obviously. I was no.8 applicant for Letter of Good Conduct application!
Guess what, we are stilll leaving in kampung lah ! No. giliran pon guna manual. A piece of paper (laminated) with number written on it! WTH? Plus, no EFTPos machine! No creditcard nor debitcard accepted ! WTF?What century are they living in? To make things get worse, I do not have any cash at the moment! Tegedik2 la call suami kan and ask him to bring some cash for the application fees! AUD10! shit!

Anyway, forget about it. And I have good news !!! yeayyyyy. During the interview with the Consular 2nd Asst, he offered me a job :) But it depends on my Visa status. AND my visa plk still pending lagi. And it can takes up to 6mths for approval ! arghh!! one of my dream jobs laaa - working at embassy (overseas). shit !job dah ade, visa plk pending. F**k!! Well, tgk lah camne. if ade rezeki, ade la tu. doa2 kan saya ye :D

Phewwww. Monday eh? Means working ! Yeww boring ah talking bout works ! works mean you carry loads of shits :)

Anyway, lastnite, I went to DENDY cinema and watched AVATAR! yeah, I know. I was the last person on earth watching the Avatar movie. kekkeke.

Guess what, still full house ok! Tix sold out ! I reserved and bought the tix on Saturday and the available time was only on Sunday nite at 2115hrs! shoot ! well that was it then. wat can i say more aite? well, it was worth watching on Sunday nite eventho tomoro (today) is Monday! It was just an amazing and great animation 3D movie I ever watched! The emotions, feelings, actions, romance and spontaneous dialog were blended together to make the movie not just as plain and norm as other existing animation 3D movies. 2 thumbs up !
